DYBSA Player Registration



BEFORE YOU REGISTER YOUR PLAYER ...

Choose the Level of Play for your child ...

Information about the different levels of play offered through DYBSA can be found under the "SB & BB Team Pages" tab across the top tabs of the website.

*For Baseball info go to Tee Ball, Coach Pitch or Baseball tabs. For the Baseball tab, click on each age group 10U and up.

*For Softball info go to Tee Ball, Coach Pitch or Softball  tabs. For the Softball tab, click on each age group 8U and up.

Know your uniform sizing information ...

UNIFORM SIZES WILL BE FINAL AT REGISTRATION AND CHANGES WILL  NOT BE PERMITTED.  TAKE TIME TO CONFIRM YOUR SIZES BEFORE FINALIZING YOUR REGISTRATION.

The DYBSA is proud to be partnering with All Seasons Sports for our Baseball and Softball uniforms this season.  To ensure a proper fit, please stop by their store to try on sample uniform, t-shirts, hats and pants.  Hats and shirts are provided for all baseball players T-ball through 16U.  One pair of baseball pants will be provided for all baseball players 11U thru 14U; and all A, AA and AAA baseball players.  All 15U and 16U baseball players have an option to order baseball pants at an additional charge.  Similarly, shirts are provided for all softball players.  8U players only will receive visors.  One pair of softball pants will be provided for all softball players 10U and up.  Families must provide socks and belts as needed.

All Seasons Sports is located at 720 Babcock Blvd in Delano.

Registration for the 2023 Summer Baseball and Softball is now open

Players and Families,

Welcome to the 2023 Summer Baseball and Softball Season! Registration will be online.

 Fees will increase on March 5th!  

Important note: Some browsers may not repopulate your children's information, so please watch carefully that each child's birthdate, grade, etc are correct before finalizing your registration.

All payments will be done online this year in 2023, setup the same as last year.

AFTER YOU REGISTER YOUR CHILD ...

Mail Volunteer Checks and A, AA, AAA or Tier 1 Fees...

A volunteer deposit in the amount of $500* is required for all families with a player in 10U or above baseball or 10U and above softball. For families with players only in the t-ball, coach pitch and 8U softball levels, a volunteer check is not required.  One deposit per family is due at evaluations.  Players will not be allowed to attend evaluations until this deposit is received.  Please see the volunteer requirements at the "Volunteer" tab on our DYBSA website.  

Volunteer Deposits and A, AA, AAA or Tier 1 Fees should be submitted at evaluations.

*Volunteer deposits will be held until the end of the 2023 season and destroyed if requirements are fulfilled.

Evaluations

PLAYERS MUST BE FULLY REGISTERED TO PARTICIPATE IN EVALUATIONS.  THIS INCLUDES COMPLETE ONLINE REGISTRATION AND SUBMITTAL OF THE VOLUNTEER DEPOSIT

Softball

10U/12U Pitcher and Catcher evaluations will be held in March. Players will be scheduled at a specific time. A detailed schedule will be posted after registration is closed. When registering, the player can select if they would like to be evaluated for pitching and catching.
 
10U/12U Evaluations for all players will take place in March. Tryout times for all registered players will be sent to all valid emails listed in the participant's account on March 8.
 
All girls interested in being on a travel/Tier 1 team need to attend evaluations. Even if girls are not interested in travel ball, we still encourage attendance at evaluations to help create equal teams for EWCL.
 
 

Baseball Evaluations

More information will be posted and communication sent, by March 1st, as it pertains to specific evaluation times and structure for each age group.  

Baseball Evaluations:  OUTSIDE EVALUATORS HAVE BEEN HIRED TO SCORE PLAYERS AT BASEBALL EVALUATIONS.  DYBSA BOARD MEMBERS AND DHS BASEBALL PLAYERS WILL BE ON HAND TO ASSIST IN THE EVALUATION PROCESS.  Attendance is recommended for all players at this age to ensure team placement that matches their skill level.  Players that do not attend evaluations will not be considered for a travel team.

General notes: The DYBSA asks that you make every effort to attend evaluations on your assigned night so players can be evaluated with their piers.  Please contact us at dybsainformation@gmail.com if you have a conflict that cannot be rescheduled.  Unfortunately, due to time considerations, no “make-up” dates will be offered.
